해방 이후, 제대로 단죄되지 못한 친일과 독재의 잔재는 오늘날까지 권력의 논리 속에서 교묘히 재생산되고 있습니다.이승만 정권에서 시작된 ‘망국의 씨앗’이 어떻게 오늘의 정치 현실 속에서도 살아남아 있는지를 추적한 역사다큐 망국전쟁 : 뉴라이트의 탄생!

이러한 이유로 좋은 영화 상영팀에서는 하반기 영화상영으로 이 영화를 선택했습니다. 역사를 다시한번 되짚어 보는 시간이 되셨으면 합니다.
We are the Good Movies Screening Team of the Korean Cultural Centre Incorporated, and we are delighted to host the Sydney screening of “The War of the Lost Nation: The Birth of the New Right.”
After Korea’s liberation, pro-Japanese collaborators and remnants of dictatorship were never properly brought to justice. Instead, they have been cleverly reproduced within the logic of power, continuing to this day.“The Birth of the New Right” is a historical documentary that traces how the “seeds of ruin,” planted during the Syngman Rhee regime, have survived and remain deeply rooted in Korea’s current political reality.
Erased names, Silenced records, Repeated lies,
This film reveals the faces of those in power hidden behind these distortions and sheds light on forgotten truths.
Who is the true owner of the nation?
By whom, and how, is history written?
We must remember. History forgotten will be repeated.
For this reason, the Good Movies Screening Team has selected this film for our second-half program, in hopes it will provide an opportunity to reflect on history once again.
